Fe Fi Fo Fum

Who will win?, originally uploaded by Built4Play.

Built4Play has created me favourite NinjaGo MOC yet. The idea is brilliant and the actual creation is even better.

(I'd also like to thank everyone for their patience and support through this difficult time, hopefully I'll be back for good soon)

Are you still there?

Portal turret v2 -- Instructions!, originally uploaded by L D M.

Yeah, I'm still alive. As some of you know I'm having some serious family issues, and that mixed with schoolwork is having serious effects on TSB. Anyhoo, I give you LDM's Portal Turret! :-D

Roger Roger

Troop Carrier, originally uploaded by obscurance.

LEGO has attempted to build this several times. Although their attempts are respectable, they don't hold a candle up to Obscurance's. The play function at the back is amazing, I highly recommend checking it out.

Cat's Eye Tavern

Cat's Eye Tavern, originally uploaded by Ạuric.

Shadow Viking (I refuse to give in to your new name Peva) has uploaded a wonderful tavern. The angles and slopes are awesome, as are the plants and other details. Check out his # photostream for more pictures and another sexy dio.

The Tonka Heavy Assault Truck, originally uploaded by Karf Oohlu.

I apoligise for lack of description, but I'm currently searching for my jaw.

And not a sharpie in sight!

Mission 4.2, originally uploaded by Justin Pyne.

Lets face it, the prequel trilogy has been destroyed so much over the last years. Sharpied clones, jedi-sith-droid-clones and even painted sets. That being said, there's a few fantastic flowers blooming in this burned, nuked and painted wasteland. Sticker master Justin Pyne has already blown loads of use away with his simple, but stunning scenes and his purist cloones and creative sitcker usage. This one of his just blew me away. The posing, stickers, details, extras all add up to one big win!

More details than you can shake a zombified stick at

Winter Break 01, originally uploaded by cjedwards47.

Cjedwards47 has recently blown everyone away with his amazing War Machine scene, and it seems he still has more to post! His latest dio (From BF '10) is full of lovely details and fantastic ideas. I suggest viewing all 3 photos in large, the realism and details are extremely impressive.

Arrr!

Just in time for the PotC theme, GeekyTom shares his two fantastic versions of the film's most loved captains.

Swoooooooooosh!

Close Quarters, originally uploaded by The Brothers Merz.

It's been a while since I posted (F'ing revision), but hopefully now my GCSEs are over (Until June), I get get back to blogging some awesome creations, like this one from The Brothers Merz. The ships on their own are beyond awesome, but the insane editing skill and presentation makes this look like a film poster from 2020.

The Magic Word

Alchemist's Tower, originally uploaded by Siercon and Coral.

I don't know what kind of dark magic Siercon and Coral used to conjure up this magnificent vig, but the result is magically. Just look at all those details and NPUs!

Rawr

The Lone Tower, originally uploaded by Âtin.

Atin's well know for his awesome MOCs, and this proves why. The rocks, splash effects and monster are my favourite bits, but it's full of hidden play features and details. Be sure to look through all the pictures so you don't miss anything!

(I apologize for the lack of activity, my GCSEs are next week)

Goin' with the flow

Wow. This ship by Shamisenfed is one of the best out there. The curves, transitions and NPUs are mash together perfectly to create an awesome homage to set 6085.

Game Over, Man!

Game Over, Man!, originally uploaded by Catsy [CSF].

I feel sorry for anyone entering the BAF's last stand. I really do. Catsy has once again decided to be totally awesome and build one of the best Aliens MOCs on Flickr, with amazing Aliens too! There's so many details in this and I had no idea which photo to blog, so I suggest looking though the set.

Can you swoosh a tank?

s01 main battle tank, originally uploaded by spacie 11.

Why would you want to swoosh it when you can motorize it? Spacie 11 is known for awesome playable vehicles, and this one is truly an exceptional build. Even without the playability it has it's fantastic transitions and techniques to back it up.

Terminator Spongation

SpongeBob-Terminator-02, originally uploaded by rack911.

Some MOCs don't require words, I'll let this one speak for itself.

Insert PotC soundtrack here

The Sack of Isla Tesoro, originally uploaded by 2 Much Caffeine.

Just in time for LEGO's latest licensed theme, 2 Much Caffeine shares his latest pirate MOC. The whole MOC is packed full of lovely details, from realistic water effects to amazing brickwork. I feel sorry for anyone else entering the Jolly Roger contest.

Good luck!

Chop Bot

Chop Bot 2, originally uploaded by SuperHardcoreDave.

Am I the only one who can imagine them in a cute little flash game going around chopping things up? This Chop Bot by SuperHardcoreDave is full of eye-candy and nice part usage, as well as some nice caution stickers. The curious look is his three eye tells me someone shouldn't have given him an axe...

What will happen in 50 years time...

01-Security-Mecha, originally uploaded by lego_nabii.

...When all the petrol is nearly gone? This, ladies is gentleman, is what will happen. Gas stations will build huge mechas and fight it out for drops of oil. So, for all you people out there who want a huge mecha war to happen, go burn some fossil fuels.

I for one welcome our new gas station overlords.

Don't belive their cakes

DeadSpace, originally uploaded by ORRANGE STAHL.
Although I've only played it once, I love Dead Space. Combined with my love of LEGO, this MOC by ORRANGE has me drooling over my keyboard. He's famous for his video game scenes (With good reason!), and I can tell this is going to be a winner. I don't know what he's going to win, but he's definitely going to win it.

Dead Space 2, originally uploaded by pecovam.

Yay, it's Dead Space day! Minutes after my post Pecovam posts another scrumptious creation. The atmosphere and figures in both of them are superb, as well as the editing.

<3

Judging by the relentless wave of Stormtroopers with flowers, I can safely say it's coming up to Valentine's day. Depending on your situation, it can be a really good day filled with lovey-dovey hugs, or you could have a breakdown and go on a chainsaw massacre ploughing down any couple you see. Regardless of whether or not you've found Mr/Mrs I-can't-do-any-better-so-you'll-do-for-now, you can still enjoy some of the creative pictures it brings. Although most Valentine's day pictures are a figure with a flower, you do occasional find a good one. This sculpture by AmazingBrickCreations is a unique and creative way of spreading the love. It looks like a cute fluffy cartoon character who just can't help but hug. Props to you for thinking/executing such an awesome idea.

Here's the dakka!

Orkworkh Trukk, originally uploaded by Jerac.
By now I'm sure you've seen, or at least heard of, Jerac's Warhammer creations. If you haven't found them (But managed to find a small blog...), then I think it's time you come out from under your rock. Even on their own his Orks on their own are a fantastic design that look just like the popular wargame, but put them in a huge metal trukk and I don't think you can get any more badass. I doubt he could fit in more dakka if he tried! With guns, chains, horns and squid heads popping out of every tacked on plate of metal, this trukk could penetrate even Alex's mom!

Warning! Viewer may need new set of pants.

As Chris' secret lover and half-brother, I'm obliged to post at least one of his little epic wins. I decided to post the newest, which coincidentally is one of my favourites. It's no secret I love Chris small chunky hardsuits, especially in dark bley, so I almost wet myself when I saw this.

Rock on Chris, you know we love your 'suits. \m/

Old school

In this age of dark bluish grey creation, we sometimes forget it's predecessor, it's father, the one that came before. Dark Grey. Since LEGO doesn't use it any more, young builders, like me, have no more than 50 of these awesome pieces, so it's rare to see them in a new MOC.

Rumrunner manages to bring something new to LEGO WWII, an achievement on it's own since it's now one of the most squeezed to death genres out there. I can't vouch for the accuracy (Believe it or not, I wasn't around in 1942.), but I can start the describe the awesome looks. How can you not love this sticker:

Who needs moar dakka...

...When you have a massive troll on steroids ready to sprint towards the enemy, tackle them to the ground and headbutt them until their brains look like the inside of a Mcnugget?

Jasbrick (AKA the inhuman modder who never sleeps), has once again posted some awesome customs, this time in the form of some orky goodness. Inspired by the Games Workshop game "Blood Bowl", Jasbrick shows us that orks don't need dakka to look terrifying. Although I'm sure they'll take Melchett's  advice and give heavy machine guns to their fullbacks. A cookie if anyone gets that refrence. ;-)

Welcome, to the world of tomorrow!

As y'all know the internet needs more LEGO blogs since there's hardly any out there, (Sarcasm doesn't work well over the internet does it?) so I decided to make one, go me. This for those epic ships, castles and mechs that just aren't good for the popular blogs. Who wants to get TBB'd and get thousands of views when you can have your MOCs reviewed by me? (Yeah, sarcasm doesn't work.)
